What if it rains or the weather conditions aren’t favorable?

Weather conditions can be tough to gauge sometimes when about to go on tour. If we feel that the weather conditions are unsafe or unfavorable then we will cancel the tour.

You can check road conditions here: https://tahoeweathercam.com/

What protection equipment should I wear?

Helmets are provided for guests on tour. If you bring your own helmet, it must be DOT approved. Ski/snowboard helmets cannot be worn. Bring goggles if you have them. If not, we do offer rentals. They are recommended most days.

What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear comfortable quick-dry layers. Layers are important, as it can get cold quickly while in the mountains. Try not to wear cotton as once wet it does not dry well. If you have ski/snowboard pants/jacket, that is highly recommended. We offer rentals if needed. Bring goggles and gloves. These items can be rented as well.
